Wallabadah New Years Day Races
Held every year since 1852. The infamous 30 degree incline of the race track allows spectators to watch the race without leaving the shady comfort of the rustic bark hut bar. Entertainment for the kids, Fashion of the Fields and the famous country town hospitality makes this an event not to be missed.
Tamworth Country Music Festival
With 700 Artists performing over 10 Awesome days. Located in Tamworth, less than an hours drive from Quirindi.
This is a family-friendly Rodeo. Events include Saddle Bronc riding, bull riding, steer wrestling, breakaway roping, barrel racing, rope and tie, steer undecorating and more.
King Of The Ranges, stockmans challenge and bush festival
King of the Ranges Stockman's Challenge showcases the traditional skills of Australian Stockmen and women through an exciting and intense competition over four days. Competitors accumulate points for cattle work, pack-horse work, bareback riding, target whip cracking, horseshoeing, and cross country jumping. Then finalists further display their skill and courage in catching and leading a wild horse and riding a buckjumper, to determine who will be the next King of the Ranges.

Liverpool Plains Military Tattoo
The sounds of pipes and drums and the colour and entertainment of marching bands fill the air at Longfield Oval. There are market stalls and entry to the event is free.
Bikers Australia Pig ‘n Pines Run
People of all ages gather for this yearly event to raise funds for The Kids with Cancer Foundation. There is entertainment and games, Show 'n Shine, raffle and auction.
Quirindi Canter Fun Run and Charity Bike Ride
This annual event raises funds for Youngcare and young people with special needs in the community. You can enter a team and join in the fun! There are stalls, refreshments and entertainment all day, great prizes to be won, and all for a good cause.
Quirindi sporting clays two day shoot
Two days of action. Overall High Gun - Rod Prior Memorial Trophy, sash and prize. AA, A, B, C Grades - High Gun Sash & Prize. Ladies, Junior, Veteran and Super Veteran High Gun -Sash and Prize. Boggabri Drovers Camp Fire Weekend
Do you have a caravan, motor home, camper, 4x4, ute, tent or swag? If so, get ready for the annual Boggabri Drovers Campfire Weekend. Enjoy campfires, delicious camp oven meals, shearing demonstrations, tours to local attractions, an antique machinery display, local craft and markets, bush poetry, nightly entertainment and most importantly a chance to get to know each other and the friendly locals while the billy boils.

Nundle Go for Gold Chinese Easter Festival
The annual festival is held on Easter Saturday and Sunday. A celebration of Nundle's gold fields history and the Chinese and European miners that helped form the town in the mid to late 1800s.
The Great Nundle Dog Race
Held every year on the first Sunday in May on the Nundle Recreation Ground. As well as the extensive program of dog events there is face painting, jumping castle, merchandise stall, hot dogs, steak sandwiches, tea, espresso coffee, cakes and a bar for a great family day out.
The Scone Horse Festival
Live shows including Farrier displays, the Australian Tentpegging Championships, Polo, Thoroughbred Horse demonstrations, a Rodeo, Stud tours, sheep dog trials, Australian Stock Horse demonstrations and the Scone Cup.
